The Muralla de Bronce project began in 2007 in Cali, Colombia, born from a magical moment shared between my wife Elizabeth, my son's godfather Luisito, and me, as we listened to the rhythms of salsa music.

Our vision was to create a Salsa Bar (Salsoteca) where people could listen to and enjoy music, keeping the spirit of salsa alive. We named it Muralla de Bronce in honor of Ismael Rivera, el sonero mayor (the greatest sonero), one of the most influential and iconic figures in Latin American salsa culture.
